Launching balloons into the sky causes serious environmental damage

The material from which the balloons are made (latex) decomposes over several years, while nylon ropes take up to 100 years. Deflated and burst balloons become deadly food for wild animals and fish, and birds often get entangled in ribbons and ropes, leading to their death. What can be done instead? - Plant a tree or a flower. - Organize a soap bubble flash mob. - Celebrate the holiday with a good deed – help an animal shelter or a park. Remember: a true celebration is caring for the future. The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection urges: Don't release balloons – save nature for everyone!
