According to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Wildlife", it is permitted to regulate the distribution and numbers of birds that cause harm to components of the natural environment, as well as degrade the sanitary and aesthetic condition of settlements, residential, industrial, cultural and domestic, and other buildings and structures, or cause disturbance to residents of settlements, by destroying their nests located on plantings in settlements, residential, industrial, cultural and domestic, and other buildings and structures, during the period from August 15 to February 15. ❌❗️From February 16 to August 14, the destruction of bird nests is prohibited, and during the specified period, the removal of trees with bird nests on them is also not allowed. The Minsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds that, in accordance with Article 16.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, administrative responsibility in the form of fines is provided for the illegal destruction of bird nests: for individuals, up to 30 basic units (1 basic unit - Br45); for individual entrepreneurs - from 10 to 100 basic units; for legal entities - from 20 to 500 basic units.
