Field meeting of the board of the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection
Today, an on-site meeting of the board of the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection is being held in the Ushachi District.
The main item on the agenda is the fight against invasive plant species.
The meeting is attended by:
- Heads of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Vitebsk region,
- Sergey Shamovich, Chairman of the Ushachi District Executive Committee,
- Chairmen of rural executive committees.
Alexey Markovsky, Deputy Chairman of the committee, is giving a report.
Mikhail Shuk, Head of the Ushachi Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, shares his experience in organizing work to combat Sosnowsky's hogweed.
Participants are invited to visit an experimental site.
