Public discussion of the draft resolution

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has submitted a draft resolution of the Council of Ministers on regulating atmospheric air pollutant emissions for public discussion.

The draft provides for:

elimination of legal uncertainty regarding leased atmospheric air impact facilities;

regulation of document retention periods submitted by interested parties for the implementation of administrative procedures;

abolition of the excessive requirement to provide electronic copies of the application of an interested party, as well as a document confirming the payment of state duty;

adoption of legal norms ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 16, 2008 No. 2-Z "On Protection of Atmospheric Air" regarding atmospheric air impact facilities during their construction, reconstruction, and commissioning.

The draft resolution is aimed at improving the convenience for economic entities in carrying out administrative procedures in the field of atmospheric air protection and will contribute to their efficiency and quality.

The organizer of the public discussion is the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
