Maksim Vladimirovich Lysenko has been appointed Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko, has appointed Maksim Vladimirovich Lysenko as the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

The Head of State announced the possibility of transferring the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

The President called the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection a "ministry of ministries" but expressed dissatisfaction with the department's work.

Until now, Maksim Vladimirovich Lysenko held the position of First Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

Maksim Vladimirovich Lysenko was born in 1984. In 2007, he graduated from the Belarusian State Technological University with a degree in Forestry. In 2010, he graduated from the Minsk Institute of Management with a degree in Economics and Enterprise Management. In 2025, he graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in Public Administration and Law.

He began his professional career after graduating from university in 2007 in the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, serving as a leading specialist, head of the Dzerzhinsk District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and chairman of the Minsk Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
