A Unified Information Day on the topic "Memory for the Future," dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War, will be held on June 18 in the Vitebsk region.

On June 22, our country commemorates the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. This year marks the 85th anniversary of the tragic events of June 22, 1941, when Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union without a declaration of war.

Belarus was one of the first to bear the brunt of the enemy's powerful blow, and the memory of the heroism and sacrifices of the war generation remains a crucial part of national history.
