The list of observation points and nature users carrying out local environmental monitoring has been updated

In order to update the list of observation points, parameters and frequencies, and the list of nature users carrying out local environmental monitoring, Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of June 2, 2026 No. 24 amended Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of January 11, 2017 No. 5 "On Local Environmental Monitoring".

The amendments have been prepared based on information provided by regional and Minsk city committees of natural resources and environmental protection, taking into account:

▫️the results of conducted inventories of atmospheric air pollutant emissions;

▫️permits issued for atmospheric air pollutant emissions, permits for special water use, and integrated environmental permits;

▫️the requirements of EcoNiP 17.08.06-001-2022 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management. Atmospheric Air (including the Ozone Layer). Environmental Safety Requirements in the Field of Atmospheric Air and Ozone Layer Protection";

▫️due to the reorganization of a number of legal entities.

Nature users must take these changes into account when planning and conducting observations within the framework of local monitoring.
