Ecology of Vitebsk region under control: results of the working meeting with the Minister

On July 17, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Maksim Lysenko held a working meeting at the Vitebsk Regional Committee.

During the meeting, key issues were considered:

- the environmental situation in the region;

- control over the state of atmospheric air and measures taken against violators of environmental legislation;

- control over the implementation of measures to combat invasive plant species with the adoption of appropriate measures;

- monitoring of industrial and internal quarries.

Waste disposal sites are under special control.

— The position on waste disposal is principled and unchanged: special control and no concessions, — noted Maksim Vladimirovich.

Following the working meeting, relevant tasks were set and deadlines were determined.
