In the Republic of Belarus, Mother's Day is celebrated on October 14.

At the state level, Mother's Day was officially established in 1996. On the same day in October, believers celebrate the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

Mother is the first person a child meets. It can be said that mother and child are a single organism. Maternal care and attention are an expression and continuation of a mother's love for a baby. And this feeling allows him to live and develop. And it doesn't matter how old we are – a mother's wise advice and support are needed by both children and adults.
