October 21, 2024 – Republican Father's Day!
Father's Day is established in Belarus on October 21. The corresponding Decree No. 198 was signed on June 9, 2022, by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The date of October 21 was chosen for the celebration of Father's Day, as Belarus has a long-standing tradition of celebrating Mother's Day on October 14, and now there will be an opportunity to hold a parental week from October 14 to October 21. Events held during this period will contribute to the further preservation of traditional family values.
A father is the main man in everyone's life, he is the pillar of the family, he is the master and protector. He is the one who cherishes the name and honor of the family and his lineage, as he is its continuator and bearer of the surname.
