Republican information and propaganda campaign "Holidays without smoke and fire"

From June 6 to August 18, 2023, the republican information and propaganda campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" will be held. The main goal of the campaign is to prevent fires caused by children's carelessness with fire, as well as to prevent child deaths and injuries. Propaganda events will be held in summer health and school camps, where the main audience will be students of different ages.

For three summer months, rescuers will educate children and adults, filling the leisure time of participants with a variety of modern, engaging, and at the same time useful activities. "MChS Day," "MChS-LAND," the game "School of Young Rescuers," thematic theatrical performances, quizzes, online safety quizzes, master classes, excursions to safety centers, museums, fire and rescue units, and many other diverse events from MChS propagandists will allow children to demonstrate their erudition and ingenuity, show their creative potential, test their strength and endurance, but most importantly – to learn, review, and reinforce life safety rules. Rescuers will also show thematic videos and cartoons, and distribute educational materials.

Activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, students, representatives of OSVOD, the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society, the magazine "Young Rescuer," and others will assist MChS propagandists in conducting the campaign events.

In addition, rescuers will organize fire safety training for employees of children's health and school camps, including on-duty personnel.

The MChS reminds: dear parents, grandfathers, and grandmothers! Under no circumstances leave young children unattended! Do not allow children to play with fire, keep matches and lighters out of reach, and do not let children near windows and balconies. Remind children of water safety rules and ensure that children do not swim unattended. Remember that not only bodies of water, but also wells, bathtubs, buckets of water, and decorative ponds pose a danger. After all, preserving the life and health of children is a common goal for all adults!
