Exams for young "academics"
Employees of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations are conducting events for children and their parents as part of the republican campaign "In the Spotlight – Children!".
As part of the first stage of the campaign, rescuers, starting from August 21, are holding daily events in retail outlets where children and their parents come to buy everything they need for the new academic year.
Department employees invite store visitors to participate in exciting interactive platforms. One of them is the "Young Rescuers Academy". Here, under the watchful eye of their parents, children complete theoretical tasks, answering questions about fire equipment and technology, and correct actions in emergency situations. In the practical part, participants race to put on protective clothing, install and test the operability of an autonomous fire alarm, learn to tie knots used by rescuers in their work, and provide first aid using the mobile application "Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. Help is Nearby" as a prompt. Upon completion of all tests, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations present children with gifts and diplomas from the "Young Rescuers Academy" with their grades.
Another form of activity is the "Safety Exam". The tasks in this exam are similar to those in the "Young Rescuers Academy". At the end of the exam, rescuers present children with "Safety Diaries" and certificates of successful completion of the 2023 Safety Exam.
During the events, department employees present the new information campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Be Close to Your Child!".
