A shed fire occurred in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichi village council.
On September 13, at 03:10, the operational control center of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a barn fire on Naberezhnaya Street in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichsky Rural Council.
Upon arrival of the first emergency response units at the scene, open burning of the barn was observed.
The owner, born in 1971, was at home at the time of the fire. There were no casualties.
As a result of the fire, the roof and ceiling of the barn were destroyed, and the walls were damaged.
The considered version of the cause of the fire is violation of the rules for operating electrical networks and electrical equipment.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:
- Do not leave electric heaters plugged in unattended, especially at night, and do not dry clothes on electric heaters;
- Use only serviceable electrical appliances, do not overload the electrical network. Remember, an unplugged electrical appliance can cause a fire;
- Do not use faulty or dilapidated electrical wiring. When leaving home, make sure that all electrical appliances are turned off. Rescue service phone numbers are 101, 112;
- Do not use homemade extension cords and electrical appliances, do not leave plugged-in electrical appliances unattended, and do not cover or paint electrical wires and cables. And remember the main rule – one electrical appliance – one socket.
