Don't burn your life away!
The Ministry of Emergency Situations' campaign "Don't Burn Your Life Away!" is nearing its end in the Rossony District.
Presentations in the district's work collectives have become the most common form of outreach for Rossony rescuers within this campaign. Meetings were organized with employees of the Rossony and Yakubovo forestry enterprises, Road Maintenance Department No. 32, and Road Repair and Construction Department No. 109. During these meetings, representatives from the Rossony District Emergency Situations Department provided attendees with detailed information about the consequences of such a harmful habit as smoking, using examples of fires that occurred in the Rossony District. Specifically, out of 11 fires registered in the district, 3 were caused by careless handling of fire while smoking, and one of these resulted in a fatality. The discussions were invariably accompanied by a screening of the video "Victims of a Harmful Habit."
– Visitors to recycling collection points and mobile shops, as well as patrons of commercial establishments and public gathering places, were also not overlooked, – noted Vyacheslav Belyavsky, Deputy Head of the Department. – For them, we organized interactive discussions and quizzes on the theme of careless handling of fire while smoking. Every participant in the campaign received visual materials in the form of brochures titled "Don't Burn Your Life Away!". Within the framework of these events, we actively assist our citizens in overcoming the struggle against this harmful habit and making their lives safer!
