На Витебщине стартовала информационно-пропагандистская кампания «Безопасный Новый год!»

The information and propaganda campaign "Safe New Year!" has started in the Vitebsk region.

Information and propaganda campaign "Safe New Year!" launched in Vitebsk region.

New Year is a magical time for everyone, regardless of age. This holiday is eagerly awaited all year round. In anticipation of the New Year, one begins to believe in miracles, to create an incredible magical atmosphere: decorating the Christmas tree, adorning the apartment with garlands, stocking up on firecrackers, fireworks, party poppers, and sparklers. Rescuers are not magicians, but they will do their best to make these days wonderful, and most importantly, they will help you avoid unexpected dangerous situations that can lurk during the holidays, whether you are at home or on the street.

From December 11 to 29, EMERCOM propagandists will conduct large-scale events throughout the Vitebsk region with the aim of reducing the number of fires and accidents due to careless handling of pyrotechnic devices, as well as violations of fire safety rules in preparation for the New Year and Christmas holidays.

The campaign will be held in 3 stages:

Stage 1 will take place from December 11 to 16. Rescuers will meet with students of schools and extracurricular institutions. Boys and girls will be treated to interactive discussions using the games "Rescue Steps," "5 Differences," and the quiz "Fireworks of Safety." Each participant of the campaign will be able to take part in a New Year's flash mob.

In the second stage, from December 18 to 22, EMERCOM employees will show attention, love, and care to children undergoing treatment in hospitals, visit large families, orphanages, and family-type homes, and boarding schools. Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, and characters from the EMERCOM cartoon "Magic Book" and "Special Squad 112," as well as the symbol of the year, Dragon-Rescuer, will visit the children. Together with EMERCOM employees, they will explain safety rules during winter holidays: how to behave on ice, how to use pyrotechnics, party poppers, and sparklers. In addition, children can expect quizzes, impromptu theater, thematic contests, screenings of films and videos, as well as visual aids and, of course, gifts.

The final stage of the campaign will take place from December 26 to 29. Rescuers will visit public spaces, shopping centers, markets, Christmas tree markets, etc. Here, rescuers, along with their trusty fairy-tale helpers, will congratulate everyone on the upcoming holidays, remind them of safety rules, conduct themed quizzes, contests, and lotteries, distribute visual aids, give away prizes, and also present "creative" gifts from artists and ensembles. A Firefighter Santa Claus, mascot costumes, themed photo zones, visual aids, loudspeakers – all means are good to convey an important message: even during the holidays, one must not forget about safety.

Join the EMERCOM campaign, share safety with your family and friends, neighbors! We wish that every minute brings only joy, every event is pleasant and long-awaited, and every idea ends with a successful outcome!
