Rossony. May the upcoming holidays be safe!
The first stage of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ “Safe New Year!” campaign is nearing completion in the Rossony district.
Events within the first stage of the campaign took place at Rossony, Krasnopolye, and Klyastitsy secondary schools, as well as Selyavshchina basic school and the Rossony Center for Children and Youth. Ministry of Emergency Situations employees conducted interactive discussions on life safety fundamentals with senior students, titled “Ded Moroz the Rescuer’s School.” The children showed particular interest in the didactic game “Steps of Rescue,” during which schoolchildren chose the correct sequence of actions in case of various emergencies.
During the discussions, rescuers demonstrate educational video materials, one of which is the video “Pyrotechnics,” which is particularly relevant for viewing before the New Year holidays.
“All our work is aimed at ensuring that the upcoming bright, festive days are not overshadowed by unfortunate incidents, especially those involving children!” noted Alexander Podvitelsky, a representative of the district emergency situations department. “We inform the children about the rules for using pyrotechnic devices, electrical equipment, the dangers of thin ice, and how to act correctly in case of emergencies.”
