From February 1 to 23, the republican campaign "Safety – Into Every Home!" will be held in the Vitebsk region.

Statistics show that fires are most often the result of citizens' ignorance or disregard for fire safety regulations.

Last year demonstrated that careless handling of fire, violations of the rules for the installation and operation of stove heating, and violations of safety rules during the operation of electrical equipment continue to hold leading positions among the causes of fires. It should be understood that avoiding casualties is not always possible.

To once again draw people's attention to the problem of fires and the resulting loss of life, rescuers will conduct a series of preventive measures during the campaign.

The campaign will be held in 2 stages.

The first stage involves work with large families and families where children are in a socially dangerous situation, and will take place from February 1 to February 14. During this stage, visits to the households of the aforementioned categories are planned, including preventive and explanatory discussions with parents, interactive sessions with all family members on observing safety rules at home, during the operation of stove heating and electrical equipment, and on the dangers of leaving children unattended.

From February 15 to February 23, the second stage of the campaign will take place, covering retail outlets, dormitories, and places with mass gatherings of people. Interactive platforms and information centers are planned here, where anyone can receive qualified advice on home safety, fill out a safety checklist, and receive visual information materials, etc. For dormitory residents, master classes on the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment and first aid will be organized.
