The information and awareness campaign "Do not leave children unattended!" will start on the territory of the Vitebsk region on May 15.

The problem of child injury is very acute in modern society. One of the most effective ways to solve it is prevention. Knowing the most common causes and conditions that contribute to child injury and death, it is easier to take measures to eliminate them. We should not forget that the personal example of parents in observing safety rules is very important in this matter.

To draw public attention to the problem of child deaths and injuries, including in fires, to prevent children's mischief with fire, as well as to reduce the number of emergencies involving children and ensure their overall safety, from May 15 to June 1, the information and awareness campaign "Do not leave children unattended!" will be held on the territory of the Vitebsk region.

The campaign events will take place in places with mass gatherings of people and will include interactive platforms with contests, quizzes, and games for the whole family. Rescuers will also conduct training sessions with young and expectant parents in healthcare facilities, visit large families, orphanages and boarding schools, family-type homes, children's camps, and sanatoriums.
