Campaign «Youth for Safety!»

From October 7 to 18, the republican information and propaganda campaign (event) "Youth for Safety!" will be held throughout Belarus.

Its goal is to popularize the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, the profession of a rescuer-firefighter, civil and patriotic education, prevention of fires and deaths from them, promotion of a safe and healthy lifestyle, unlocking creative potential, and uniting young people – young rescuers – in a useful cause.

Within the information campaign, rescuers set themselves not one task, but the main ones are to increase the level of public awareness about the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, its goals, objectives, directions, and thereby attract youth to the ranks of young rescuers. In addition, the organizers are confident that familiarization with the movement can foster a culture of life safety in adolescents.

One of the directions in the work of the information and propaganda campaign will be events to provide feasible, patronage assistance to lonely and single elderly people and disabled people.

As part of the event, various activities and events will be held in the district to attract the attention of the younger generation to the profession of a rescuer and the movement of young rescuers. The following will be organized: a bike ride, an excursion to fire and rescue unit No. 1 of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations, meetings between rescuers and students of the district's schools, a sports festival, and many other events united by one goal – to instill a culture of life safety in adolescents and attract them to the public association of rescuers-firefighters.
