From October 14 to 30, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" will be held in the Vitebsk region.

One of the main reasons for fires remains the failure of citizens to comply with fire safety regulations due to carelessness or ignorance, but the outcome is the same.

In order to prevent such fires, as well as to increase public awareness in the field of fire safety, strengthen law and order, and prevent offenses committed by citizens under the influence of alcohol, from October 14 to 30, 2024, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" will be held in the Vitebsk region.

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society, will take part in the preventive measures.

Traditionally, first and foremost, the prevention entities will focus on families with children in a socially dangerous situation, lonely and single elderly citizens, disabled people, citizens who use their homes for drinking alcoholic beverages, individuals leading an antisocial lifestyle, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and other socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
