The special preventive event "House without fire" has been completed in Rossony district
The special preventive event "House without Fire", which was held from April 26 to 30 in the Rossony district with the aim of reducing the risks of fires in housing and deaths from them, and increasing the life safety culture among the population, has been completed.
As part of the event, joint work of prevention entities was organized in the urban settlement of Rossony, in the territories of Krasnopolsky, Sokolishensky, Yankovichsky rural Soviets. Inspection commissions worked in these places, and individual fire prevention work was also carried out.
To assist in carrying out fire prevention work in the homes and apartments of the district residents, employees of the Vitebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations joined the Rossony rescuers. The personnel were briefed on the need to comply with safety regulations when inspecting housing stock facilities.
Employees of the Center for Life Safety Promotion conducted information and propaganda events at Krasnopolskaya secondary school, a round-the-clock care unit for people in the agro-town of Krasnopolye of the territorial center for social services for the population, and trade facilities. Rescuers used various forms of work to communicate with the population, depending on the category of citizens. But the goal pursued by rescuers in implementing the special preventive event "House without Fire" remains unchanged – to reduce the number of fires in homes and apartments, and deaths from them.
During the special preventive event "House without Fire" from April 26 to 30, 18 employees of the emergency services bodies and units of the Vitebsk region were involved in preventive work. During the event, the district inspection commissions worked 4 times.
