The Ministry of Emergency Situations' special preventive event 'House without Fire' was held in Rossony
A special preventive event of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, "House without Fire," was held in the Rossony district. Its goal is to reduce the risks of fires in housing and deaths from them, and to improve the life safety culture among the population.
To assist in fire prevention work in the homes and apartments of the district residents, employees of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations joined the Rossony rescuers. The workday began with an briefing of the personnel on the need to comply with safety regulations when inspecting housing facilities.
As part of the event, joint work of preventive entities was organized in the urban settlement of Rossony, and inspection commissions worked in the territories of the Krasnopolsky and Sokolishchensky rural Soviets. Individual fire prevention work was also carried out in these locations.
When visiting households, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees reminded citizens of the need to comply with basic fire safety rules to prevent misfortune in their homes. They explained the rules for operating stove heating, electrical networks, and electrical equipment, and also mentioned an important device – the autonomous fire alarm.
Employees of the Center for Life Safety Promotion conducted information and propaganda events at the Rossony Secondary School, Kindergarten No. 1 of the district center, and the day care unit of the territorial center for social services to the population.
Rescuers used various forms of work to communicate with the population, depending on the category of citizens. However, the goal pursued by rescuers in implementing the special preventive event "House without Fire" remains unchanged – to reduce the number of fires in houses and apartments and deaths from them.
