The Ministry of Emergency Situations' special preventive event "House without fire" was held in Rossony region

From June 17 to 22, a special preventive event by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) called "House Without Fire" was held in the Rossony district. Its aim is to reduce the risks of fires in residential buildings and fatalities from them, and to enhance the population's life safety culture.

To assist in conducting fire prevention work in the homes and apartments of district residents, employees of the Vitebsk Regional MES Directorate joined the Rossony rescuers. The workday began with an briefing of personnel on the need to observe safety precautions when inspecting residential properties.

As part of the event, joint work by preventive entities was organized in the urban settlement of Rossony, and inspection commissions worked in the territories of the Krasnopolsky and Sokolishensky rural councils. Individual fire prevention work was also carried out in these locations.

When visiting households, MES employees reminded citizens of the need to comply with fire safety rules to prevent disasters at home. They explained the rules for operating heating stoves, electrical networks, and electrical equipment, and the importance of installing autonomous fire alarms.

Rescuers used various forms of communication with the public, depending on the category of citizens. However, the goal pursued by rescuers in implementing the special preventive event "House Without Fire" remains unchanged: to reduce the number of fires in homes and apartments and the fatalities resulting from them.
