Safe summer with rescuers
The Republican campaign "Safe Holidays" is actively underway in the Rossony district.
The work is primarily aimed at children who are vacationing in summer camps at schools. Despite the fact that the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees pay special attention to children from the specialized shift "Young Rescuer," created this year at the Rossony Center for Children and Youth, children from other camps are not deprived of attention from rescuers and employees of the district services. The youngest residents of the district – preschoolers – are also actively involved in the events organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, along with schoolchildren.
Together with representatives of the ОСВОД (All-Russian Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water), rescuers use various forms of events in their work with children. Preventive talks, interactive games, quest games, "Safety Spartakiads" with the use of Ministry of Emergency Situations equipment, excursions and classes at the emergency situations department, and swimming lessons are conducted.
By their example, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees want to convey to parents information on how to organize a child's leisure time during the holidays, because it is no secret that in the summer children are left to themselves and are not insured against accidents. The purpose of the preventive work carried out by rescuers is to attract public attention to the problem of fires caused by children's mischief with fire and deaths on water bodies.
