A large-scale information campaign is underway in the Rossony district to inform the public about the effectiveness of using autonomous fire alarms, the necessity of their installation and timely maintenance.
The main task of rescuers is the prevention of emergencies. In connection with the worsening operational situation with civilian deaths in fires, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has organized a campaign on the effectiveness of using autonomous fire alarms.
To this end, employees of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations are actively carrying out preventive work in the work collectives of organizations and institutions of the district, urging citizens to comply with safety rules in everyday life. Rescuers inform representatives of work collectives about the number of fires that occurred during the current year on the territory of the republic, region, and district, about the principle of operation of an autonomous fire alarm, the rules for its installation, and methods for checking its operability.
– Just imagine how many fires we could have avoided and how many people we could have saved if people had followed the recommendations and installed alarms in their homes! – noted Nikolai Borovikov, Deputy Head of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations.
In conversations with residents of the district, rescuers talk about specific examples of fires where civilian deaths were avoided with the help of an autonomous fire alarm.
– Take care of your safety today, without waiting for trouble to come to your home, – noted Vladimir Alshevsky, First Deputy Head of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations. – After all, the installation and timely maintenance of autonomous fire alarms will cost you less than a life lost in a fire.
