Special preventive event of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "House without fire" completed in Rossony District
The special preventive event of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "House without fire," which was held in Rossony District with the aim of reducing the risks of fires in housing and deaths from them, and improving the life safety culture among the population, has been completed.
As part of the event, joint work of preventive entities was organized in the urban settlement of Rossony, as well as in the territories of Klyastitskoye, Krasnopolskoye, Sokolishenskoye, and Yankovichskoye rural Soviets. In these locations, individual fire prevention work was carried out, and inspection commissions were organized.
To assist in fire prevention work in the homes and apartments of residents of the district center, workers from the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations joined the Rossony rescuers. As a result, dozens of houses and apartments were inspected. Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, both as part of inspection commissions and in the course of individual fire prevention work in citizens' homes, not only checked the operability of autonomous fire alarms but also installed them.
In addition to the work aimed at studying fire safety in the housing stock, rescuers organized an information and propaganda campaign, during which they actively informed representatives of labor collectives of institutions and organizations of the district, and residents of rural settlements about the importance of installing and effectively using autonomous fire alarms, as well as observing fire safety requirements in general.
