A bathhouse caught fire in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichsky rural council.
On June 16, at 14:26, the operational management center of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a bathhouse fire on Naberezhnaya Street in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichsky Rural Council.
Upon arrival of the first emergency response units at the scene, open burning of the bathhouse was observed.
The owner, born in 1983, was in the yard of the specified property at the time of the fire. The property is used seasonally as a dacha. There were no casualties.
As a result of the fire, the bathhouse was destroyed.
The considered version of the cause of the fire is violation of the rules for operating stoves, heat-generating units and devices.

- Ministry of Emergency Situations warns! Adhering to simple rules for using stove heating will help prevent fires. Do not overheat the stove. Before closing the upper damper of the stove, make sure that the firewood in the firebox has completely burned out;
- Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends: seal cracks in the stove, update the protective plaster and whitewash layer, clean the chimney;
- Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds! It is extremely dangerous to use combustible and flammable liquids for ignition;
- Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds of the need to comply with fire safety rules when operating stove heating. Place a metal sheet in front of the firebox door, do not heat the stove with the door open.
