Focus on water safety

Rosson rescuers are continuously conducting patrol activities on the region's water bodies, as well as teaching children attending school camps the basics of safe behavior on water.

Traditionally, representatives of the water rescue society, police, and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union participate in patrols along with the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees. Conversations are held with vacationers in various bathing areas located in the district about observing the rules of safe behavior on water bodies, and statistics of accidents that occurred both in the region and in the republic are provided. Citizens respond with interest to the invitation to communicate and also note the usefulness of the work carried out by the district services.

Employees of the district department for emergency situations, together with the water rescue society, have organized training sessions for children who are in school camps at the central beach of the urban settlement. Various scenarios for rescuing drowning people using rescue equipment are practiced with the children.
