Rossony rescuers freed a child trapped in a car

On August 11 at 11:32, the operational control center of the Rossony District Department of Emergency Situations received a report that a one-and-a-half-year-old child was locked inside a car on Sovetskaya Street in the district center.

Emergency rescue units were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, it was determined that the car doors were locked, and the vehicle was parked in the sun with the engine running. The child was inside.

The child's parents exited the car, after which the central locking system of all doors spontaneously engaged. The father made an unsuccessful attempt to open the car himself before contacting rescuers for assistance.

The senior instructor-rescuer of Fire and Rescue Unit No. 1 of the department, Dmitry Trashchenko, opened the driver's door using locksmith tools. The child, born in 2022, was handed over to the parents. The child does not require medical attention.
