Rossony rescuers came to the aid of a feathered friend

On August 10, the operational control center of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations received a report from residents of the village of Kresty, Albrechtovsky rural council, stating that a stork could not get out of a tree crown on its own.

Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers determined that the bird was trapped by tree branches and was helplessly hanging upside down. A fire truck with an extendable ladder was used for its rescue. The stork was successfully brought down to the ground by Denis Korebchik, the head of fire and rescue post No. 12. It turned out that the bird had a severely injured leg. Rescuers delivered the feathered creature to the district center, where it was handed over to veterinarians.
