A bathhouse caught fire in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichsky village council.
On December 13 at 05:32, the operational control center of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a bathhouse fire on Naberezhnaya Street in the village of Tofeli, Yankovichsky Village Council.
Upon arrival of the first emergency response units at the scene, open burning of the bathhouse was observed.
The owner, born in 1978, was in the dacha house at the time of the fire. There were no casualties.
As a result of the fire, the bathhouse was destroyed.
The considered version of the cause of the fire is violation of the rules for operating stoves, heat-generating units and devices (overheating of the stove).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:
- Compliance with simple rules for using stove heating will help prevent fires. Do not overheat the stove. Before closing the upper stove damper, make sure that the firewood in the firebox has completely burned out;
- Seal cracks in the stove, update the protective layer of plaster and whitewash, clean the chimney;
- Using flammable and highly flammable liquids for ignition is extremely dangerous;
- Observe fire safety rules when operating stove heating. Place a metal sheet in front of the firebox door, do not heat the stove with the door open.
