A child died in a fire in the Luninets district

A fire broke out on the afternoon of 01/27/2025 in a residential building in the agro-town of Bostyn. Rescuers discovered the body of a one-year-old girl. According to preliminary data, a 25-year-old woman went outside for household chores, leaving her three children (aged 1, 3, and 5) alone in the house. After some time, the two older boys ran to their mother and reported the fire. The flames engulfed the house, preventing the local resident from saving her one-year-old daughter.

 

The preliminary version of the fire's origin is children's mischief with fire.
