A residential building caught fire in the agro-town of Dvorishche, Albrechtovsky Village Council.
On February 14, at 21:12, the operational management center of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a residential house fire on Zelenaya Street in the agro-town of Dvorishche, Albrechtovsky Rural Council.
Upon arrival of the first emergency response units at the scene, smoke was observed inside the house.
The owner, born in 1981, and her husband, born in 1976, were in the house at the time of the fire and left it on their own. There were no casualties.
As a result of the fire, the ceiling in the house was damaged, and the walls and property were smoked.
The cause of the fire is being established. The considered version of the cause of the fire is violation of the rules for operating stoves, heat-generating units and devices (overheating of the stove).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:
- observing simple rules for using stove heating will help prevent a fire. Do not overheat the stove. Before closing the upper damper of the stove, make sure that the firewood in the firebox has completely burned out;
- using flammable and highly flammable liquids for ignition is extremely dangerous;
- a metal sheet must be placed in front of the door, do not heat the stove with the door open;
- cracks in the stove must be sealed, the chimney within the attic must be plastered and whitewashed, update the protective plaster and whitewash layer, clean the chimney.
