A bathhouse caught fire in the village of Krashuty, Krasnopolsky Village Council.
On April 12, at 16:06, the operational management center of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a bathhouse fire on Ozernaya Street in the village of Krashuty, Krasnopolsky Rural Council.
Upon arrival of the first emergency response units at the scene, open burning of the bathhouse was observed.
The owner, born in 1972, with her two sons, born in 1994 and 2011, were in the house at the time of the fire. There were no casualties.
As a result of the fire, the roof of the bathhouse was destroyed, and the ceiling and walls were damaged.
The cause of the fire is being established. The considered version of the cause of the fire is violation of the rules for the construction and installation of stoves, heat-generating units and devices (lack of clearance to combustible structures).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:
- compliance with simple rules for using stove heating will help prevent fires. Do not overheat the stove. Before closing the upper damper of the stove, make sure that the firewood in the firebox has completely burned out;
- it is extremely dangerous to use combustible and flammable liquids for ignition;
- a metal sheet must be placed in front of the door; do not heat the stove with the door open;
- cracks in the stove must be sealed, the chimney within the attic must be plastered and whitewashed, update the protective plaster and whitewash layer, clean the chimney;
- it is necessary to ensure a clearance of at least 10 cm from the stove or heat-generating unit and device to combustible building structures;
- it is necessary to ensure a clearance of at least 13 cm from the chimney of the stove or heat-generating unit and device to combustible building structures.
