Over the past 24 hours, three people got lost in the forests of the Rossony district

Two women managed to leave the forest on their own, while one required the assistance of rescuers.

At 15:57, the operational management center of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations received a report via the "112" line from a resident of the agro-town of Sokolishche, stating that she had gotten lost in the forest near the village of Volotovka. Three units of equipment and ten personnel were dispatched to the suspected search area.

Communication with the lost person was maintained via mobile phone. At 18:08, the woman was found by EMERCOM employees and did not require medical assistance.

Before going into the forest:

1. Wear bright, comfortable, waterproof clothing and footwear;

2. Take a phone (navigator, compass), water, medicine, food, matches, and a knife with you;

3. Do not go into the forest alone;

4. Pay attention to weather conditions; it is better to postpone the trip in cloudy weather;

5. Inform relatives about your route and expected return time.
