Preventive Campaign "Thin Ice"

Rassony rescuers are conducting a special preventive campaign "Thin Ice" in the Rassony district. The campaign aims to prevent deaths on the ice and inform the public about safe behavior on frozen water bodies.

As part of the special preventive campaign, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have organized patrols of the region's water bodies. Representatives of the district organization "OSVOD" (All-Russian Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water) are also actively participating in this work.

During the patrols, preventive discussions are held with fishermen, during which rescuers remind them of the importance of adhering to life safety rules when on water bodies. They also provide information on the statistics of accidents, both in the region and in the republic.

Furthermore, employees of the Rassony District Department for Emergency Situations, together with OSVOD, organize preventive events for representatives of labor collectives of organizations and institutions in the district, as well as schoolchildren and kindergarten students. During these discussions, rescuers emphasize the need for people on the ice to have rescue equipment and instruct them on actions to take in case of danger.
