Child safety at water bodies
We would like to place special emphasis on the safety of teenagers near bodies of water. They sometimes behave too carelessly and overconfidently, running and fooling around near the water, not sensing any danger. Parents must understand that no matter how old their child is, whether a preschooler or a student, they should not be near the water without adult supervision. It is parents who are obliged to talk to their children about everything that could happen, warn them about the dangers, and explain the consequences.
Important! Rules for parents:
- do not let your child go to the beach alone;
- do not lose sight of them when they are swimming (do not rely on the fact that the child is already grown up and a good swimmer);
- choose an equipped beach, as there are lifeguards on duty there.
CHILD FATALITIES AT BODIES OF WATER
We emphasize once again that the most important thing parents should remember is that children should not be near the water without supervision. This is a rule that all adults must strictly follow. Unfortunately, young children left unsupervised often drown in the water.
Important! Do not lose sight of children playing near bodies of water. It is best if the child plays in the water with adults – this is the only way to be completely sure of their safety. If you are not participating in the games, make sure the child remains within your sight.
Dear parents! Summer is a wonderful time for relaxation, positive emotions, and vivid impressions. But it is also the most dangerous period for children. Therefore, do everything you can to protect your child from trouble. Try to make your vacation as safe as possible, be with your children, and take care of them.
