Attention! Thin ice!
Rosson rescuers are conducting a special preventive event "Thin Ice" in the Rosson district, the purpose of which is to prevent people from drowning on the ice and to inform the public about safe behavior on frozen bodies of water.
As part of the special preventive event, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have organized raids on the reservoirs in the region, which, in addition to rescuers, are attended by representatives of the regional organization "OSVOD".
Participants of the raids conduct preventive conversations with fishermen, reminding them to observe life safety rules when on reservoirs. They also provide information on the statistics of accidents, both in the region and in the republic.
In addition, employees of the Rosson District Department for Emergency Situations organize preventive events with representatives of labor collectives of organizations and institutions of the district. During such conversations, rescuers remind citizens of the need for people on the ice to have rescue equipment in case of trouble and instruct them on actions in case of danger.
