Monitoring of the "Kosmos" store of "Vitpromtorg" LLC was carried out

In August 2024, employees of the department conducted a monitoring of the "Cosmos" store of "Vitpromtorg" LLC. During the monitoring, the following violations were identified:

failure to ensure the training of facility employees responsible for fire safety, who are assigned the duties of conducting fire safety briefings, according to the fire-technical minimum programs in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations;

fire safety briefings were not conducted with employees using the facility-wide fire safety instructions;

development of facility-wide fire safety instructions was not organized;

operability and serviceability of fire protection and fire extinguishing equipment, as well as constant readiness for their use, were not ensured (the seal on the OP-4 fire extinguisher located in the sales area is broken, the pressure gauge needle is in the red sector);

the facility lacks a fire safety information stand;

the facility is not equipped with primary fire extinguishing means in accordance with the norms established by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (it is necessary to add 4 OP-8 fire extinguishers in the sales area);

the possibility of opening locks (latches) on doors located on evacuation routes from the inside without a key was not ensured (external evacuation doors at the main entrance);

locations of fire extinguishers and manual fire alarms in the building are not marked with fire safety signs in accordance with GOST 12.4.026-2015 "Signal colors, safety signs and marking. Purpose and rules of use. General technical requirements and specifications. Test methods";

maintenance of the fire alarm system was not ensured;

a schedule for scheduled maintenance of automatic fire alarm and fire notification systems was not developed and approved;

recording of maintenance work on the system in the maintenance and current repair work log was not ensured;

control over the quality of system maintenance work was not ensured;

the height of thresholds in the doors of evacuation exits from the building is more than 0.06 m (main and emergency exits from the building);

a 10% reserve of fire detectors was not ensured at the facility, clause 8.3.11 of TKP 316-2011.

Following the monitoring results, recommendations for rectifying the violations have been sent to Vitpromtorg LLC.
