Polling stations have been surveyed

In December 2024, employees of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations conducted inspections to ensure fire safety at facilities intended for polling stations. During the conducted measures, the following was established:

Rossony District Executive Committee

the building is not equipped with a fire alarm system;

the evacuation plans for people in case of fire on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the building do not comply with the requirements (the phrase "Order of actions of people" is replaced with "Action of employees", the display of fire extinguishers does not correspond to reality);

the possibility of opening locks (latches) from the inside without a key is not ensured on the door located at the entrance to the left stairwell from the fourth floor of the administrative building, as well as on the exterior door located under the right (from the central entrance) stairwell of the building;

the operability and serviceability of fire protection and fire extinguishing means, as well as their constant readiness for use, are not ensured (two OP-8 fire extinguishers on the 2nd and 4th floors of the building have not been recharged).

Gorbachevsky Rural Executive Committee

the operability and serviceability of fire protection and fire extinguishing means, as well as their constant readiness for use, are not ensured (the OP-4 fire extinguisher has not been recharged).

Educational Institution "Rossony Secondary School named after P.M. Masherov"

the operability and serviceability of fire protection and fire extinguishing means, as well as their constant readiness for use, are not ensured (the fire automation system is in a faulty and inoperable state);

a 10% reserve of detectors of each type from the number installed is not provided;

fire detectors are installed in rooms without considering the type of fire load, the purpose of the room, the dominant fire factor in the initial stage, and the height of the room;

there are no notification devices in all rooms where people are permanently or temporarily present;

the "Exit" light indicator in the canteen is installed at a distance of more than 0.5 m above the doorway of the emergency exit;

the "Exit" light indicators (in the assembly (mirror) hall on the first floor, in the food block corridor) are mounted at a height of less than 2.2 m without protection against mechanical damage;

It is permitted to install fire detectors and manual fire call points in the same group (loop 1, 8, 12, 14, 17, 18 project 46.06 PS).

Educational Institution "Krasnopole Secondary School named after S.I. Zhukov of Rossony District"

fire alarm systems are inoperative (the battery in the fire alarm control panel is inoperative);

the possibility of unlocking locks (latches) from the inside without a key on doors located on evacuation routes is not ensured (the emergency exit door to the stairwell from the auditorium);

fire detectors are installed in rooms without considering the type of fire load, the purpose of the room, the dominant fire hazard in the initial stage, and the room height (heat detectors are installed in classrooms);

no notification devices are installed in all rooms where people are permanently or temporarily present (except for technical rooms, soap rooms, storage rooms, and restrooms with an area of less than 8m2).

Branch No. 3 "Dvorishchansky Rural House of Culture" of the State Cultural Institution "Rossony District Center of Culture and Folk Art"

the height of the threshold in the evacuation exit door is more than 0.06 m;

the height of the threshold in the evacuation exit door to the auditorium is more than 0.02 m;

the fire alarm system is inoperative (fire detectors in the auditorium are disconnected from the loop).

Sokolishchensky Rural Executive Committee

the building is not equipped with a fire alarm system or autonomous fire detectors with a signal output of their activation to the building facade.

During the inspections, advisory and methodological assistance was provided to the facility managers in resolving issues of improving the fire protection level of the facilities, including the preparation of relevant orders (directives) by the facility managers, schedules for organizing duty shifts during early voting and on election day, and conducting briefings for members of election commissions, managers, and duty personnel of the facilities.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
