Monitoring was carried out

In April 2023, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the dormitory and the "Rossony" hotel of UP ZhKH Rossonsky District (Head – Bobyk Evgeny Adamovich).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

- The general fire safety instructions do not comply with the requirements;

- The dormitory buildings are not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers) (floors 2, 3, 5) in accordance with the norms;

- Places for primary fire extinguishing means, as well as locations for manual fire alarms, are not designated in the dormitory building;

- The fire evacuation plan for the hotel building has not been approved by the head;

- Flowers are located on the evacuation routes (stairwell) in the hotel building, reducing the evacuation width;

- The operability and serviceability of fire extinguishing means are not ensured (two powder fire extinguishers are missing nozzles) in the hotel building.

Also, during the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "SpetsYuKInzheniring" with the requirements of the legislation when carrying out activities to ensure fire safety in terms of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at the facility was studied.

The study established:

- The operability and serviceability of the fire automation system are not ensured (the notification system unit has a faulty battery) in the hotel building;

- The fire alarm system in the dormitory is out of order (notification on the second floor is faulty).

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations in their respective organizations.
