Monitoring was carried out

In May 2023, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 1 in Rossony" (Head – Kryzhevich Lyudmila Yuryevna).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

- the operability and serviceability of fire protection equipment are not ensured (the warranty period for the storage of personal respiratory and eye protection equipment (self-rescuers) available at the facility has expired);

- employees who are part of the fire brigade have not been trained according to the relevant fire-technical minimum program;

- building materials with unconfirmed fire-technical characteristics have been used for floor coverings in the building (floors are covered with linoleum, fiberboard);

- the automatic fire alarm system does not comply with the design documentation (heat fire detectors have been replaced with smoke fire detectors);

- a 10% reserve of fire detectors is not provided at the facility.

During the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "Belarm" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities was studied, and the operability of FAS in standby mode, in fire (malfunction) mode on the main and backup power sources was checked. The study found that the FAS are in a faulty and inoperable condition.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
