Monitoring was carried out

In May 2023, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 4 in the urban-type settlement of Rossons" (Head – Danchenko Oksana Antonovna).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

- the operability and serviceability of fire protection equipment are not ensured (the warranty period for the storage of self-rescuers for respiratory and vision protection available at the facility has expired);

- the operability and serviceability of fire protection equipment are not ensured (smoke fire detectors on the first floor are faulty);

- the fire evacuation plans for people (on the first and second floors of the building) do not meet the requirements;

- the automatic fire alarm system does not comply with the design documentation (in the rooms before the groups on the second floor, smoke fire detectors are installed instead of heat fire detectors);

- a 10% reserve of fire detectors is not maintained at the facility.

During the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "Belarm" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety activities, specifically regarding the technical maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities, was studied. The operability of FAS in standby mode, fire (fault) mode, with main and backup power sources was also checked. The study found that the FAS are in a faulty and inoperable condition.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety," the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
