Monitoring was carried out

In June 2023, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the Educational Institution "Klyastitskaya Secondary School named after V.A. Khomchenovsky of the Rossonsky District" (Head – Melman Tatyana Viktorovna).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

the operability and serviceability of fire protection means are not ensured (the warranty period for the storage of personal respiratory and eye protection equipment (self-rescuers) available at the facility has been exceeded) (in the school and kindergarten buildings);

fire evacuation plans do not meet the requirements (on the first, second, and third floors of the building; in the kindergarten building);

the external fire stationary ladder and roof railing of the facility have not been tested;

materials with unconfirmed fire-technical characteristics are used for wall finishing in the stairwells of the building;

the minimum width of the permanently open leaf in double-leaf doors of the stairwell is not ensured to be at least 0.8 m, or permanent opening of both leaves.

During the monitoring, compliance by the licensee OOO "Belarm" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities was studied, and the operability of FAS in standby mode, in fire (malfunction) mode from the main and backup power sources was checked. The study found that the FAS are in a faulty and inoperable state.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations in their respective organizations.
