On conducting monitoring of Selevshchinskaya BSh

In June 2023, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the educational institution "Selyavshchyna Basic School of the Rossonsky District" (head - Derevyago Yulia Petrovna).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

the operability and serviceability of fire protection equipment have not been ensured (the warranty period for the service life of personal respiratory and eye protection equipment (self-rescuers) available at the facility has been exceeded) (in the school and kindergarten building);

a 10% reserve of fire detectors has not been provided at the facility (in the school and kindergarten building).

During the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "Belarm" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety maintenance, specifically regarding the technical maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities, was studied. The operability of FAS in standby mode and in fire (malfunction) mode on the main and backup power sources was also checked. The study found that the FAS are in a faulty and inoperable condition.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
