Monitoring was carried out

In September 2023, employees of the Rosson District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the Educational Institution "Social-Pedagogical Center of the Rosson District" (Head – Goncharova Svetlana Gennadievna).

Based on the results of the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

evacuation plans for people in case of fire do not comply with the requirements (on the first and second floors of the building);

an assessment of the readiness for the use of fire hydrants has not been carried out;

the fire automation system in the building is out of order;

the fire alarm system lacks an object terminal device for transmitting fire notifications.

During the monitoring, compliance with the legislation by the licensee LLC "Belarm" in the provision of fire safety services, specifically in the technical maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities, was studied. The operability of FAS in standby mode and in fire (malfunction) mode, using main and backup power sources, was also checked. The study found that the FAS are out of order (the control panel has failed).

During the monitoring, a presentation was given (including on the topic: "Requirements for the technical maintenance and repair of fire automation systems, organization and procedure for carrying out work") to the staff of the Educational Institution "Social-Pedagogical Center of the Rosson District", as well as to employees performing FAS maintenance. The presentation was attended by 5 employees of the organization (including representatives of the maintenance organization, the person responsible for ensuring the operability and technical maintenance of the facility's fire automation, and operational duty personnel).

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
