On conducting monitoring Krasnopolskaya Secondary School

In January 2024, employees of the Rossonsky District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the fire safety status of the educational institution "Krasnopolskaya Secondary School named after S.I. Zhukov of the Rossonsky District" (head – Sidorenko Zhanna Ivanovna).

Following the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified, which do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

the fire alarm system in the building is inoperable (smoke linear fire detectors in the gym have been dismantled);

a 10% reserve of fire detectors is not provided at the facility,

the exit from the stairwell to the attic is not provided through a type 2 fireproof hatch;

fire detectors are installed in rooms without considering the type of fire load, the purpose of the room, the dominant fire factor in the initial stage, and the height of the room (heat fire detectors are installed in classrooms);

there are no detectors in all rooms where people are permanently or temporarily present (except for technical rooms, washrooms, storage rooms, and sanitary units with an area of less than 8m2).

During the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "BELARM" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety maintenance of fire automation systems (hereinafter referred to as FAS) at facilities was studied, and the operability of FAS in standby mode and in fire (malfunction) mode on the main and backup power sources was checked. The study found that the FAS are in good and working order.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety," the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
