Rossony. Choose the profession of a rescuer!
Employees of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations conducted career guidance events for schoolchildren with the aim of selecting candidates for admission to the educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As part of a conversation with sixth-grade boys, rescuers spoke about the lyceum of the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, located in Gomel. The boys watched a video about the conditions of study at the educational institution and its material and technical base with genuine interest. Alexander Podvitelsky, an inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector of the district department for emergency situations, informed the students in detail about the admission requirements for the lyceum.
Eleventh and tenth-grade students of the district schools were also not overlooked. Vyacheslav Belyavsky, the deputy head of the Rossony department for emergency situations, met with them to popularize the rescuer profession and select candidates for admission to the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Polotsk State Chemical-Technological College. He informed the future applicants about the procedure for training specialists in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergencies, and also answered the schoolchildren's questions regarding admission and study conditions at the educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
