The main taskState Institution "Rossonsky District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology" is the organization and implementation of supervision over the implementation of sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic measures aimed at preventing and eliminating environmental pollution, improving the working conditions, education, life, recreation and nutrition of the population, as well as monitoring the organization and implementation of activities aimed at preventing and reducing the incidence of the population in the Rossony district.

Functions of the Center

  • Supervising compliance with sanitary legislation at controlled facilities.
  • Ensuring wide awareness of the population about the state of health, hygienic and epidemiological conditions, and ongoing sanitary and preventive measures.
  • Organizing and conducting monitoring of social and behavioral risk factors and the main indicators characterizing the conditions and lifestyle of the population for comparative characteristics of the territory.
  • Participation in the organization and conduct of mass events aimed at promoting and creating a healthy lifestyle and promoting public health, promoting HIV prevention measures.
  • Conducting epidemiological investigations of infectious disease cases and organizing anti-epidemic measures.
  • Carrying out hygienic examination of design and pre-design solutions for new construction and reconstruction of facilities located in the district.
  • Laboratory diagnostics for certain forms of infectious diseases and monitoring the circulation of pathogens of infectious and parasitic diseases in the region.
  • Carrying out sanitary-hygienic, radiological studies of water, food products, atmospheric air.
  • Reception of the population and consideration of letters, applications and complaints from citizens on issues within its competence.
