Extensive prevention

Rason rescuers are carrying out continuous work to ensure safety at harvesting, processing, and storage sites, and monitor the situation at reservoirs daily.

Employees of the department conduct raid activities at harvesting sites, during which they check the availability and serviceability of fire extinguishers, and documents confirming that employees have completed the fire-technical minimum program. Rescuers, together with farmers, discuss issues of ensuring fire safety during the harvesting campaign.

The situation at reservoirs is also not being overlooked. Together with representatives of the water rescue society, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visit citizens' recreation areas by the water daily. Conducts briefings for vacationers on proper behavior at reservoirs, providing statistics on accidents that occurred in the current year.

When carrying out activities, both at harvesting sites and at recreation areas, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees invariably hand out visual aids.
